Major Projects Currently On Site


Springside, Edinburgh

CBA have been appointed by Fountain North Limited to provide Quantity Surveying Services on the mixed use re-development of residential, retail and office space with associated external works, underground car parking and streetscape works at Springside, Edinburgh.

Site clearance began in December 2006 with the demolition of the former Scottish and Newcastle brewery buildings.

The eight acre area has now been cleared and building work on the construction of the East underground Car Park and the first Phase of the Residential build commenced in August 2007.

The plans are for 219 contemporary one, two and three bedroom apartments on the east side of the development.

Caltongate

£100m mixed use development comprising retail, offices, residential, five star hotel, leisure, streetscape work and underground car parking

Kingsgate

£33.5 million Design and Build Extension to the Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Dunfermline.

The works comprise the demolition of the existing multi-storey car park and Bus Station attached to the existing shopping centre, the construction of a temporary car park, the construction of a temporary Bus Station and the formation of a five storey extension comprising 2 levels of shell retail and mall and 3 levels of new car parking together with associated external works and site servicing around the new extension.

Scottish Widows, Exchange Place, Edinburgh

Exchange Place is a £50 million office development for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership on a gap site at the Fountainbridge / Exchange business district in Edinburgh.

The development consists of 3 separate open plan office buildings totalling nearly 300,000ft2 of space including basement car park.

This development is currently on site.

Asda, Dalgety Bay

The works comprised the demolition of 1990’s office and research building and the construction of 37,000ft2 Asda retail unit including mezzanine with associated service yard and all associated ground works, external works and RCC off-site works including a new roundabout.

The works are currently on site and will be completed Spring 2008 with the contract value approx. £4.2 million.

Shawfair Business Park

The business park is one of the first developments of the Southwest Wedge masterplan for the new urban area of Shawfair. The work comprises the construction of 3 Nr. 2 storey buildings with new access road, utilities and related infrastructure and external works.

   

These buildings are the first instalment of a new business park to be developed by Buccleuch Property.
