Michael Laird Architects designed this 150,000ft2 open plan office building built in the site of the former British Aerospace building for Highland Properties. The re-use of the existing piled foundations, floor slab, drainage and car parking ensured that the building won a sustainability award for engineers Faber Maunsell.
